Tingley Athletic face the (Tingley) Tigers

Tingley Athletic under 8,s played their first ever league game on Sunday against Tingley Tigers.In a terrific game of football both teams played total football, the passing and movement on both sides was exceptional .Tingley Athletic took the lead after a passing move that involved every single member of the team and was finished by Daniel Cowell .The Tigers replied soon after but our boys dominated the rest of the game and a great performance by the Tigers keeper meant that in the end the game ended 1-1 .Our defence combination of George Thornton and unite most improved player Brandon Megson dominated the Tigers forwards ,our attack of the superb Bradley Frost and Blaine Buxton held the ball and created chance after chance ,and on other day both could of had a hat trick ,however Unite man of the match went to our (David Batty ) Daniel Cowell who won every tackle followed by some pinpoint passes ,and the coolest finish you could wish to see for our goal .Again the result was unimportant the boys loved it and parents ,and credit to both sides football was the winner in this superb spectacle ,well done boys were proud of you !!
