Titans Xscape!
Saturday (9th Jan) managed to get the Titans over to Castleford where they all had a crazy time on the ice slide (as can be seen by the images).
Everyone seemed to have a great time on the ice which was topped off by another great time at Pizza Hut! -

U16 Girls Start Season With New Kit & Win!
Tingley U16 Girls start the season with a resounding win over Hemsworth Miners, the final score 1 – 8. If you are interested in joining our squad please telephone Debbie on 01132 533941. We play in the 2nd Division of the WRGFL in a Sunday League, we train Mondays @ Woodkirk High School 6.15-7.30pm.

Book Sale – Update
Due to the cancellation of games at the Crescent on the weekend of the 28th February, the book sale will now go ahead from the 7th March, for the whole of March on Sundays. Please feel free to come along and browse a large selection of books.

A selection of new & and second hand fiction and non fiction books will be on sale at the club house on the 28th February from 9.30 to 2pm. Feel free to come along and browse. All proceeds to go to the club.

Kierien Gillen sadly passes away …
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the sudden and untimely death of Kierien Gillen on Sunday 14th February 2010. Kierien’s Funeral will take place at St Francis RC Church Morley at 11.20am on the Thursday 25th February followed by a service at Cottingley Crematorium at 12.20

*IMPORTANT* EGM Meeting – Tuesday 2nd Feb
[ February 2, 2010; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] It has been proposed that all three sections of “Tingley Athletic” should be merged into one “Club”. Therefore it has been decided that the proposed manager’s meeting on Tuesday 5th Feb will be replaced by an EGM when the required changes can be tabled and voted on.

Books Wanted
Tingley Athletic are holding a book sale on 28th February at the Clubhouse. If anyone has any good quality books they no longer want you can pass them to me (this weekend) or drop off at the clubhouse on a match day.
