Kierien Gillen sadly passes away …
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the sudden and untimely death of Kierien Gillen on Sunday 14th February 2010. Kierien’s Funeral will take place at St Francis RC Church Morley at 11.20am on the Thursday 25th February followed by a service at Cottingley Crematorium at 12.20
*IMPORTANT* EGM Meeting – Tuesday 2nd Feb
[ February 2, 2010; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] It has been proposed that all three sections of “Tingley Athletic” should be merged into one “Club”. Therefore it has been decided that the proposed manager’s meeting on Tuesday 5th Feb will be replaced by an EGM when the required changes can be tabled and voted on.
First Aid Course at the Crescent – Cancelled due to new FA regulations

Saturday Soccer Club Rota
The Saturday Soccer Club is going well and is vitally important for the future development of Tingley Athletic…therefore we need everyone to ’share the burden to reap the rewards’ and have developed the attached rota to ensure that everyone joins in and doesn’t rely on one or two always turning out.

80’s Nite update
A great nite was had by all down at Acanthus Golf Centre in Tingley. The common folk met with some of the biggest showbiz icons from the 80’s including Adam Ant, Kid Creole and his coconuts, Dexys Midnite Runners and MC Hammer and Alice Cooper, to raise much needed funds for the Batley U15 girls [...]
