Amazing Performance by Tingley Athletic Under 8s

The under 8,s took on Middleton Park Juniors in an away league fixture .Carrying on from last weeks first victory of the season the team played an outstanding game of total football with compliments coming from the Middleton manager and supporters as to the way they played the game .At half time in the first game Bradley Frost finished 2 fine passing moves either side of a super 20 yarder from Dan Cowell ,after the break a further strike from Dan and the completion of Brads hat trick gave Tingley a 5-0 victory.Again a fantastic team performance from keeper Ewan Haigh to the solid defending of George Thornton,Brandon Megson ,and Kaylem Sheldon,Brad and Daniel owed nearly all 5 goals to midfield wizard Blaine Buxton and his perfectly weighted passes ,and strong tackles .
In game 2 the Tingley manager changed things round a bit but at no cost to the team as by half time Brad Frost ,Daniel Cowell,and Blaine Buxton gave Tingley a 3-1 half time lead ,credit must be given to the spiit of Middleton who never gave up against a team playing at full potential ,and they deservedly got a goal to keep the game open just before the half time whistle.The second half was one way traffic with a quickfire hat- trick from Blaine ,and Daniel Cowell netting his first Hat trick for the team .To round off the perfect day ,the manger changed round the defence and attack and the scoring ended with Kaylem Sheldon,s first ever goal for the club 9-1 to the boys.Again the team got the MOM the match award ,and most improved went to the stunning midfield performance of Blaine .
